Mental Health Issues, a Social Pollutant and How We Can Help?
1/24/20251 min read
Social pollution is about more than just physical contaminants; it includes harmful social dynamics and inequalities that degrade community health. Issues like poverty, discrimination, and restricted access to essential resources create forms of social pollution that impact everyone’s quality of life. Through collective awareness and action, we can help build healthier, more supportive communities.
Discriminatory social environments and lack of support, contribute to high levels of stress and mental health issues. This creates anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. Vision India Foundation address this issue by conducting an awareness program and personal counselling section for women workers in housekeeping.
