We empowered housekeeping women in Chennai's Perungudi community during the Christmas season through encouragement and sharing a special five-line memorandum. The initiative highlighted their invaluable contributions, fostering self-respect and unity among domestic workers facing daily challenges. The memorandum urged fair wages, safe working conditions, health benefits, respect from employers, and skill development opportunities. Festive gatherings featured gifts and motivational talks to boost morale amid holiday joy. VIF's heartfelt effort sparked hope, inspiring the women to advocate for dignity and brighter futures in their community.
